and i just want it to be clear to all that not everyone in new jersey lives in trailer park, lives for the days that whitesnake ruled the airwaves, hangs out at “titty” bars, is a dead beat dad and has a bleach blonde ponytail…
i wear jeans, i have a beard and unruly short brown hair, i have no kids (and if i did they’d be treated like royalty), i live in a house and i hate whitesnake so much that i rerecorded one of their songs just so i could tolerate it… jussayin.
although todd barry (@todbarry) is fucking fantastic in this movie. ”whats the matter? did the price of tights go up?” hilarious.
wow, cbs fm 101.1 you have lost a listener. i often appeal to your frequency when in search of 60s soul, classic rock n roll and doo wop. i can even overlook the horrific amount of disco from the 70s you seem to think of as “classic” while i wait for the rolling stones. what i cannot overlook is your station head’s decision to broadcast hateful, ignorant and ridiculous anti-gay marriage commercials over the fm waves. go fuck yourself if you really think anyone should give a shit about who marries who (whom marries whom? english majors?). don’t ruin my morning by reminding me how stupid and small minded my state and my country is a the present time.
sorry. i just get very heated when propaganda enters my car without me knowing about it before hand.
unreal. since when does a music station have any business spouting political views one way or the other? i guess i’ll just have to stick to my otis redding and the ronnettes CDs where i know that i don’t hear the closed mindedness mentioned here. and if there was anything i’m sure it would be in favor of equality. civil rights should not even be a question. it shouldn’t have been in the 60s and it shouldnt be now.
